The basic principles of the Couple Garden still apply - if you're not familiar with them I typed a brief overview in this forum post.
I know many players choose to do the hourly garden strategy where they plant and water to get to Stage 2 sprouts for the rewards and then harvest and replant again. This maximizes couple point (heart) gain over time.
The main difference is that instead of the usual :x0 to :x5 timing window to plant your seeds, the timing window is now :x0-:x1 or :x5-:x6. It's only a one minute interval instead of a 5 minute interval, but it happens every 5 minutes instead of every 10 minutes.
This is how I found out:
First I planted each garden column by minute, as labeled below:
Then, we wait about an hour... actually less than an hour because the water shows up in an hour rounded down instead of up in Redbana. (For example, if you plant at :30, first water should show up at :35 or :40 in Redbana server, but would show at :30 in Korean server.)
This is what we get at :30 an hour later.
As you can see, we have successfully isolated the "water" requirement for the plants in the first column. This allows us to obtain the stage change bonus for this column of plants only.
We wait a few more minutes, but the garden doesn't change until :35, 5 minutes after the previous result.
The first column now has "dust" requirement, the next 4 columns are mixed water and dust, and the sixth column now has isolated "water" just like the first column 5 minutes prior. This shows that there are 2 general timing windows within a 10 minute interval now, the :x0-1 and :x5-6.
As you can see, these did drop the heart "hat" rewards so we did isolate the water properly.
Lastly at :40, as expected, the remaining columns are mixed water and dust.
So there you have it! A quick experiment to find the optimal planting times for Korean Audition couple garden.
It's rough to only have 1 minute to plant 40 plots all in the same timing window (if you have a fully expanded garden.) I suspect this is why they implemented the "fast plant" mechanic - where you only need to select the seed once from the inventory and you can click consecutive spots. You really wouldn't have time to click the inventory, click the seed, and then click the plot within 60 seconds.
The other tricky part is that you need to have a very precise time to be able to accurately plant. I don't know the /time command equivalent in Korean Audition, but since the garden has its own time anyways and the Korean gardens update real time (you don't need to exit and re-enter the garden for it to update) you can either watch the garden very carefully to determine the exact second, or you can plant a short term secret garden plant batch to find the second they grow and then deduce the minutes from there.
